Most of our clients choose private pay, and we've built our practice around it. Private pay means your therapy is shaped by what you need, not by what an insurance company will approve.
Why many clients choose private pay:
No diagnosis is needed to start therapy.
Your sessions stay between you and your therapist. Your insurance company doesn't review your care.
You and your therapist decide how often you meet and how long therapy lasts. There are no session limits.
Using your out-of-network benefits:
If you have a PPO or POS plan, you may be able to get part of your session cost back. We'll give you a superbill (a detailed receipt) to send to your insurance company. Many plans pay back 60–80% of the session cost after your deductible is met. Please note: a superbill includes a diagnosis code, which your insurance company will see.
In-network options:
We have limited in-network availability with select insurance plans. Ask about it during your free 15-minute consultation.

In the first few sessions, I will be asking you a variety of questions to get a better understanding of your history, goals and what makes you you. Together, we will set goals to help achieve what you hope to get out of therapy.
-
Short answer, it really depends.
Some will get what they need in a few months and others will set new goals after original ones have been met. Some enjoy long term therapy to process week-to-week events.
Therapy is individual, when youre ready to wrap up we can start that process together.
-
I request weekly therapy for the first 4 weeks so we can really build a comfortable space for you. Afterwards, we may determine more frequent or bi-weekly appointments are more appropriate for your needs.
-
I request 24-hours’ notice for cancellations. Cancellations within 24 hours are subject to the full session rate.
